Pimp My MX3

Starting with a 63,000 mile 1995 1.8 V6 MX3 which had been modified by an enthusiast, we are creating our own green dream machine.

From a distance all looks, sort of OK, but on close inspection you see things are far from what they should be!

The first thing we had to do was to discover what we had purchased.  Removing the bumpers, bonnet, skirts, flared arches and lighting units we got down to the basic body shell.

Where do we go from here –
Now we knew what the car was like underneath we could decide where we are going in the future.

We know that we want to fit the best parts to the car and to create something special and so we need the right base to put them on.  Each panel that had been modified had to be stripped back to make sure the finished job lasts.

The begining... Now the quality starts to show... A closer view reveals all!
A slight adjustment here and there... There's more to this than you might have first thought... Subtle changes to the back are required too...
Not quite "rear of the year" YET! You could say a work in progress A bit of work to do in the engine bay...
This is a vital part of getting a good finish, the attention to detail, right at the start... The surface is sprayed, flattened, sprayed again untill the perfect finish it attained. The next time you see this wing it will look a lot better...

Currently the parts are selected and the paint design defined, come back soon to see what happens next.
